William O. Weygandt of Trinity, Texas went to be with the Lord in Huntsville, TX on Sunday, March 27 at the age of 87. He was born in Wichita, Kansas on July 26, 1928. Bill Weygandt was an active deacon and dynamic leader in churches in Houston and Trinity. As a lifelong educator, he served as a teacher, counselor, and assistant principal at Waltrip High School in Houston until his retirement in 1988. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Vera Lou; sons, Jon William Weygandt, and wife, Debbie, of Rockwall, TX, and James David Weygandt of Trinity, TX; grandchildren, David William Weygandt of Houston, TX and Karissa Weygandt of Fort Worth, TX. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday March 31, 2016 at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Trinity, TX followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. at Dorcas Wills Memorial Baptist Church in Trinity, TX.
