Well, 2017 and I'm still traveling the country. I updated my photo to show a picture of me after walking to my truck in 33 mph wind. When we got to the restaurant, Steve asked me if I owned a comb with a grin that makes it impossible to be annoyed at his remark. For the gal who had never been further north than Dallas the first 45 years of her life, I've seen a lot of snow and mountains. I've discovered that while I am Texan Born and as people say a CITY GIRl, I am a true Flat Lander!!! However, I have developed a special fondness for Albuquerque, NM...Rio Rancho, NM...Bernalillo, NM area. You have the beautiful mountains but not as much of the snow/cold of the northern states. And, of course, the shopping rivals Houston. I am starting this New Year living in small towns where the nearest shopping will be fifty miles one way. I wish I could say I'm older and wiser but all I can say is that I love the Gypsy life I lead. And one of these days I am going to be located less than 500 miles away from a reunion gathering and when this is the case I will gladly show up at a mixer to say Howdy to the locals. Until then I will continue to read of your adventures here. Thanks to all who give the timely updates.
