HOWLING GOOD TIME!

Please mark your calendars for October 18, 2025 for our Fall Mixer:  Howling Good Time

Here are the details:

      Date:  Saturday, October 18,  2025

     Time:  5:00 pm - 1:00 am

Early start time for those that have requested it.  You may come as early as you like and stay as late as you want!

       Location:   District 249

                          23238 SH-249

                          Tomball, TX

This is not as far out of town as it sounds.  It is only 20-30 minutes from Oak Forest area and it is a very nice place. Many of you live close by in the Cypress & Tomball area.  We will have areas designated for us both inside & outside.  The class will provide an array of appetizers.  There is NO cover charge for this event. District 249 will provide separate tabs for each person for your food & drink purchases.  We will have table service, no standing in lines to get your goodies!  We can also bring our own sweets/desserts, cookies, cupcakes, Halloween candy.  You are welcome to bring any sweets, we would appreciate it!

There is a big dance floor and a DJ will be playing music starting about 9:00 pm.  Prior to that, we can play music from the juke box or listen to their set playlist. There is also a large parking lot, you won't have any trouble finding a parking space.

District 249 will be decorated for Halloween.  Wear your favorite costume and have a HOWLING GOOD TIME!

This is a costume party and Gary Champ says he is giving prizes for the 2 best costumes!  It's ok if you don't want to wear a costume, but it would be fun if you did!  

I will be sending an Evite in a few days so we can get a headcount. Please respond! Hope to see you there!

Pictures taken by Dennis Hermis at Saturday night's event at Cadillac Bar are now available online.  And what a great job he did!  I think he used a "Looking Good" filter because we all look marvelous!

Hello Fellow Classmates & Friends!

Saturday night's reunion is history now, but what a great memory it is!  We had 80 people there--- it seemed like more to me!--- but according to our sign in sheets it was 80.  So great to see many of you that haven't been at some of our previous events, and amazing to see some "first-timers."  A special shout-out to David DeVries, Shane Duvall, Alice Harris, Rick McQuillen, and Mark Young.  So glad you joined us and hope you will continue to do so!  (P.S. Happy Birthday to Alice Harris!)

I want to extend heartfelt thanks to our Reunion Committee members who helped bring everything together.  Rose Ann Milheim Meyer, Robert Mahnke, David Simpson, Ginny Hughes Rich, Bonnie Williams Yezak, Trudy Brandt, Clarence (Bubba) Champ, Barbara Biondolillo, & Dennis Marshall.  And last but certainly not least, Mr. President Gary Champ, who always tells me what to do.  (Even though I don't always do it!)

Rose Ann stepped up again with fabulous decorations for our event.  She is an amazing designer/decorator.  Dennis Hermis & Bubba Champ took lots of pictures.  They should be shared on the website soon.  Big thanks to all of them!

Also thanks to our awesome DJ, David Hicks, from Waltrip Class of 72.  He's wonderful and has most any song you want available.  He is also a very good friend.
